I just got back from the Outer Banks the other day and I was able to get my new blog! I am very very excited about this… so in a couple of days I will no longer be blogging here but at a new address. Don’t worry – I will still keep this blog up and running for about 4-6 months and just have it be a link back to my old blog. Anyone who has bookmarked this will need to change their bookmarks.
I will not be adding any more posts to this blog besides a final one with the new address. I do have lots to talk about like always though – fill you in on more details from the wedding in Feb, plus pictures from the Outer Banks ( it did rain all 4 days.. yuck), and I have 3 more photo sessions coming up this month so its a busy month!

I look forward to seeing all of you on my new blog in a couple of days!

Well its already March!  February flew by.. only having those 28 days really shortens the month for me.  

I am going to be switching over to a new blog layout in the next couple of weeks – so if things get a little crazy around here that is why!  I am hoping that it will be easy to transfer all my older posts to the newer one… but we will see!  

Here is an image from the past wedding in Feb – I will post more up in the next couple of days but this is a good teaser.  We got tons of amazing images and they all turned out great.  I am very excited to post some more in a couple of days.

I will be out of down from the 13th to the 17th visiting The Outer Banks, in NC.   I will make a note of that on my calender so that everyone knows.  If you are a current client and have any questions  during this time period  please call me instead of emailing me as I will not have access to the internet while I am in North Carolina. I can not rave enough about my new sample albums! They are GORGEOUS! I was so happy to finally find a company that I was excited about their products and delivered quality products to me. This company is amazing and the wait was definitely worth it.

These albums are in 3 out of the 4 packages that I offer… and of course you can add an album on to your package or order one after your wedding! If you would like to set up a meeting to look over these albums just send me a message and we can set up a time. They really are amazing – Pictures do not do them justice at all. The leather options and cover options for these albums are endless and the leather is genuine Italian leather… which means super soft  All albums are custom designed by me with your help ( you get to pick some of the images that are in the album) and they are hand bound. 

So without any further wait – here are my two brand new albums.  The first one is the 12×12  flushmount album with Pearl color leather as the main cover, with smooth black leather as an accent, and a 3×3 metal cameo.  The second album is the 8×10  coffee table album with a Cocoa leather cover and pearl paper.  Both have custom imprinting on the spines of the albums.  Custom imprinting can either go on the spine or front cover of the albums.

Another added bonus – They just came out with some new leather colors which include fun colors like Navy and Red.  Also, they are adding more size options so I will be adding anther size or two to my price sheet.

Hello everyone!

It has been a busy time over here – So much has happened and I have so much to blog about.
I had a great Engagement session with Justin and Chelsea a few weeks ago. I am just finishing up the images now and plan on getting a few teasers up here within a day or so. We went to Deer Creek and had a blast using their facilities for the shoot. It was a little cold but we still had a great time!
On February 7th I was able to photograph the wedding of Stephanie and Jeff. I am sure you remember their beautiful engagement photos with their pets! The wedding was at Greystone Winery down in Columbus, Ohio. It was a great venue to have an intimate wedding with close family and friends. I can not wait to get a couple photos up from that shoot as well!
Another great thing that has happened is I was able to finally get all of my sample albums in! I now have my sample albums from my album companies that I work with and I am so excited about them. I plan on posting photos of them as well up here.
All of my previous clients that I have already had our meetings with – please inquire about them if you would like to see them and I will bring them to our engagement sessions or we can set up a separate meeting to look over them. They are gorgeous!

Jeff and Stephanie were a blast work with and so were their pets!  We had a great time shooting some indoor shots – then ventured outside on one of the coldest days in December to grab some quick shots.  Then we finished up with some images with their pets.  Their wedding is in February so look for those images soon!

 

 

Pat and Amy were amazing for our engagement shoot in December.  We shot down in the Short North and had a blast.  Look for their wedding photos in July!   Here is a small preview from their shoot:

Remember how I said I was backlogged with engagement photos? Guess what! Here are some of them.  Miriam and Peter are an amazing couple that were extremely fun to work with.  We did a night engagement shoot which is very different then the normal engagement shoots that I do during the day.  They braved the cold weather to get some great shots so I hope you enjoy them!  We were able to run inside the State House for a bit to get warmed up and take a couple more shots so that was great.  I am looking forward to their wedding in August of this year, so keep an eye out for those images in the fall. 

 

 

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! 

 

I hope everyone had a great new years.  I went out with a couple of friends for dinner and then came back home to watch the ball drop.  What can I say – I love Dick Clark’s rockin’ New years eve!  I have watched it ever since I can remember… I don’t think I have ever missed it either!   Taylor Swift did a great job on her performance and so did everyone else who played. Kelly Pickler looked very cute as a co host for Ryan Seacrest.  Kelly had a ton of glitter on her eyes! My goodness – I think they were as bright as the 2009 ball!  

On to the photos!  Here are some of my nephew from his mini photos that occurred during Christmas day and the day they left.. more to come along with all the engagement images I have backlogged!

Hello everyone!  I hope you all are having a great holiday season.  I have had my sister, brother in law and nephew visiting for the past couple of days from Arkansas so that is a good thing… many pictures of my little nephew opening packages on Christmas morning.   He has gotten so big! He is only 4 months old right now but he has changed so much since I last saw him in September.  They are leaving on Tuesday so that is when all the festivities stop for us – they will be passing through Ohio though in January so I should get my little fix of him then.

I have a ton of new pictures to post on here and I hope I can get to them this week.  I have been busy shooting engagement sessions and editing those – as well as shooting pictures of my adorable nephew… so don’t worry many new pictures will soon be up!  I can’t wait to show them all to you guys.  The past 3 couples that I have had sessions with have all been great – lots of fun, and all of them braving the lovely Ohio winter weather.  One couple and I even did our session on the coldest day of the year so far and without coats for part of it. Yikes!   On the weather channel that night they were talking about people being outside for longer than 15 minutes getting frost bite – that is scary! We were only out for about 5 minutes and even that was brutally cold.. we got great pictures though so props to them! They are troopers, as are all my couples that went out in the weather with me.  I can’t wait to finish up all the photos and get them up here – y’all are going to love them! 

 

I was also in Florida for a a week in December with my family which was great – I will see if I can get some of those photos up here as well.  I will warn you now though they were taken with my little point and shoot camera! 

 

Hope the rest of your holiday season is good and that you have an amazing New Years… I’m still working on my new years resolution.  I think it is to start training for a 10k and train hard for it!  I have done 5k’s now over the past 2 years and I love them.. so its time to challenge myself more and work for that 10k!  ooo… I wonder which one I will sign up for – I will let you guys know once I pick one!
